We had a very successful week of Workshops and Table Reads for The Raven.  A lot of hard work from actors, dramaturg and volunteers to make it all come about.  It was definitely a week of new insight, laughter, tears and revision, revision, revision.  Jumping into rewrites.  Stay tuned for more updates on this show!

We have the wonderful opportunity to go through

a series of Table Reads for The Raven in November 2016.

After a tremendous amount of rewriting, dramaturging and reworking, we are excited to work with a fabulous cast of actors and crew to hear where the show is sitting now so we can move forward.

We have had some exciting new developments with the script and music score and after serious discussion with our team, we have decided we need to take the time to flesh them out.

​​That being said, we have decided to postpone the Auditions and the upcoming Table Reads for a few months in an effort to get the show where it needs to be for full production. STAY TUNED for information on upcoming READINGS and FULL PERFORMANCES.

With the new adjustments and changes to the script and music, we are happy to announce the upcoming Staged Readings for the continuing development of this new musical. We will be having auditions in February to cast for the Readings which will take place on​ April 17-18 in Calgary.

Mark it on your calendar. More Information will be forthcoming on how you can play your part. As this is a continual development, your feedback is essential to the process.

The Raven has been through heavy re-writes and the music has changed and grown and found its niche in the show. The characters are more developed, the musical voice is more distinct and the story is clear and stark and riveting.

​​We are excited to welcome the re-birth of The Raven after a year and a half of re-writing and growth from the Staged Readings in 2013. Stay tuned for more information as we prep for a new set of Readings and performance opportunities coming up in 2015!

We are pleased to announce that thanks to a recent donation, all actors will be paid.

There are a few audition spots left, so book your audition now.

​​There are more audition times open for men than women and we will be filling those first, but we are looking for a musically strong, diverse cast and encourage all non-equity, musical theatre singers to apply.
